Dachshund Training

Well, it's more our Dachshund trained Us! We trained her with simple techniques such as holding a treat in one hand (hidden) and having her perform the act over and over until she got it right. I would do this every night for about 3 weeks. By that time, she was able to do numerous tricks such as Roll Over, Shake Hands, Come Here, and she loves to fetch balls. Even today, as soon as I get in from work, the first thing she does is expects hugs and kisses before she goes outside. Then when she's done "her business" she finds the small tennis ball and expects to play fetch for the next 3 hours.
